3. Strictly Necessary Cookies
Session cookies (u_session_id and d_session_id) are required for the platform to function. Without them, you cannot stay logged in. These cookies:
- Contain only a randomly generated identifier (UUID)
- Are HttpOnly — JavaScript on the page cannot read them
- Are Secure — transmitted only over HTTPS
- Are set to SameSite=Lax — not sent on cross-site requests
- Do not contain any personal information, passwords, or payment data
Your session data (name, email, preferences) is stored server-side in Redis and is associated with the session identifier. When you log out or the session expires, this data is deleted.
4. Analytics Cookies
We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics. This helps us understand traffic patterns, popular pages, and areas for improvement. Google Analytics cookies do not identify you personally.
Data collected includes: pages visited, time on page, referral source, browser type, and approximate geographic region. This data is aggregated and we do not combine it with any personally identifiable information.
5. Cookies We Do Not Use
igentbase does not use:
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Cross-site tracking cookies
- Social media tracking pixels
- Third-party cookies for profiling or selling data
6. Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View which cookies are stored
- Delete individual cookies or all cookies
- Block cookies from specific sites
- Block all third-party cookies
If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to log in to the platform. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect functionality.
7. Third-Party Services
When you log in via Google, GitHub, or Microsoft OAuth, those providers may set their own cookies during the authentication flow. These cookies are governed by each provider's own cookie policy, not ours. Once the OAuth handshake completes, only our session cookie remains active.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. If we introduce new categories of cookies (e.g., for advertising), we will notify you and obtain consent where required by law.
